RSS content can be read using browsers such as Firefox, Opera, Safari and Internet Explorer 7 or software called a "feed reader". The reader checks your subscribed feeds regularly for new content, and downloads any updates that it finds.
You can subscribe to a feed by entering the feed's link into the reader or by clicking the RSS icon in a browser that initiates the subscription process. Some browsers, including Firefox, Opera and Safari, automatically check for RSS feeds when you visit a website, and display an icon when they find one. This can make subscribing to feeds much easier.
